Happy New Year 2010!!!

I am gonna miss 2009 but I welcome 2010. My reason for missing 2009 is because many things happened in this year. My first grandchild was born. We shared all our first with him this year, vacation, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. The only sad part of 2009 I don't want to remember is losing my last surviving grandparent but I look forward to living each day of 2010 by the grace of God under his lead. 2010 will Lord willing bring our grandson's first birthday and our second vacation with him, etc. I wish everyone a joyous time of bringing in the new year with your family and friends and I also wish for you good health, prosperity, and peace within your homes and neighborhoods.

Izaiah's First Christmas

What a joy it was to spend our first Christmas with our grandson. He was surrounded by family and love. He had fun opening his gifts and smiling at his Mommy, Aunt Felicia, Uncle Mo, pop pop, and Grandmom as he opened his gifts. I cant tell you how grateful I was to be able to spend this day with him. The first's you neva get back and there was no way I wanted to miss this special time with him and I am thankful to God that he allowed me to be alive and here to do so. I am so happy my husband got this momentous day on video so that my parents could enjoy seeing him experience his first Christmas. They couldn't be with us on Christmas week as planned due to the weather conditions but they wouldn't have let the day go by without calling us all including Zai to wish him a Merry Christmas.

We rescheduled our gathering right after the New Year when the weather was milder. The house was still all decorated, we had lunch together, watched the Christmas morning dvd and had fun with Izaiah.

Celebrate Jesus!

As the celebration of the birth of Christ approaches tomorrow I encourage you even more to keep your mind focused on Jesus. Let it be a time of reflection that Jesus (I said JESUS) willingly left glory to come down here IN THE FLESH to save a world full of people destined to DIE. All our HOPE and our SALVATION rests on Jesus, who is and always will be the "only" SAVIOR of MEN! Be sure you are following the right MASTER!! If you are unsure get on your knees and ask God to show you plainly who HE is and join me/us in Worshiping the true King of Kings and Lord of Lords this Holiday Season....
